Digital Advertising Director

Fresh Eyes Digital is searching for an individual with deep expertise in digital advertising (social, search, and display) to help our nonprofit clients acquire more constituents to their causes and to raise more money online. This is an amazing opportunity to work with a flexible and fun team while doing lots of good for the world with our progressive and nonpartisan clients. We are open to candidates seeking a full-time position or consultants looking to work collaboratively with our team.

Fresh Eyes Digital is an online fundraising and digital marketing firm serving the progressive nonprofit sector. We pride ourselves on delivering ground-breaking creative and game-changing strategy to organizations seeking to build better relationships with online audiences and turn those audiences into loyal donors and activists. Specifically, we are looking for an individual who will: 

  • Develop and execute results-oriented, data-driven advertising programs for our nonprofit clients.
  • Design, test, and implement digital ad campaigns to grow and broaden audiences, retarget existing audiences and raise funds for our client’s causes.
  • Track, measure and optimize advertising performance in real-time allowing you to make timely strategic recommendations around shifts in creative, investment levels or approach based on data.
  • Come up with creative approaches for testing and optimization that reach beyond normal best-practice execution of campaigns.
  • Build our portfolio of clients.

Qualifications: 

Ideally we’re looking for an individual with 3 – 5 years agency experience (or experience in national nonprofit settings) who has actively used tools such as Facebook Business Manager and Facebook Ads Manager, DoubleClick, AdSense, Google Adwords/Google Marketing Platform and Google Analytics to run your campaigns.

In addition you should: 

  • Be a bit of an Excel wizard, and be able to grab raw data and organize that data to help track success of advertising spends and campaigns. Experience with data visualization tools are a plus.
  • Understand how to synthesize results and drill down and focus on important implications from data and offer next steps for clients.
  • Have strong communications skills for ongoing client and project management. You’ll be communicating detailed information as well as big picture strategy and recommendations in this role.
  • Be able to train and share insights with our consultants to help support the work and increase offerings to our clients.
  • Be able to help build our book of business specifically in terms of advertising services and analysis.

More about the role: 

Our team is located throughout the U.S. You can work anywhere in the U.S. and must have access to high-quality internet for your day to day work. Among other tools, we use Zoom and Slack to collaborate internally and with our clients.

This can be a full-time salaried position with a salary range of $80,000 – $90,000. We are also open to applications from independent consultants with rates to be negotiated.
