Physicians for Human Rights (PHR)

Fresh Eyes Digital helped the Development and Communications teams embark on a major expansion of individual giving under $5K in the wake of the family separation crisis at the border in 2018.

  • Growing email list size from 40K to 170K subscribers.
  • Expanded under $5K donor file from roughly 1,700 active donors in 2018 to 5,500 active donors in 2021.
  • Nearly tripled revenue from under $5K donor program in three years.

In the midst of the Family Separation crisis at the U.S. Mexico border, we used DHS’s insulting response to the crisis as a way to help PHR keep up advocacy momentum with our own “We fixed it for you” version of their letter.

Rape Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN)

Fresh Eyes Digital helped RAINN’s Development and Communications teams navigate the heightened pressure on sexual assault survivors during and after COVID lockdowns.

Support included:

  1. Program planning, overall strategy, budgeting and projections with both Development and Communications programs
  2. Multichannel campaign planning and design concepting
  3. Online advertising strategy, creative, and implementation
  4. Copywriting and creative
  5. Email Design and implementation

  8. Online tool selection and migration of CRM and full suite of online tools
RAINN

Accomplishments

  • Consistently exceeded board fundraising goals for online giving. In the last EOY campaign we ran, exceeding our aggressive email goals by 123%.
  • Assisted in much-needed vendor selection and migration project from a diverse and dysfunctional CRM and online toolset to a much more streamlined toolset and instance within EveryAction.
  • More than doubled RAINN’s list by adding over 40K new subscribers through paid media as well as organic growth spurred by regular and engaging advocacy campaigns.

Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST)

Fresh Eyes Digital helped POST’s Annual Giving team vastly expand their digital and multichannel fundraising efforts, especially through the devastating wildfires of recent years and expanded interest in access to the outdoors during COVID lockdowns.

  • Raised over $1M in Annual Giving gifts during 2023 year-end season from a lean email list of under 100K.
  • Expanded POST’s monthly donor file by 20% via a single Monthly Giving Campaign in 2022.
  • Spearheaded testing and experimentation that allowed POST to drive 2023 EOY unsubscribe rates down by 30.8% YOY while all other email engagement metrics rose in the same period.
