In this edition of Meet the Freshies, meet Jordyn Key, our brand new Project Success Coordinator! Jordyn already has two-plus years of project management under her belt — and recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with an MBA in marketing! We’re so thrilled to have her on the team.
How long have you worked at Fresh Eyes Digital? What’s your role here?
I just started as a Project Success Coordinator in June 2024!
What are your top three favorite vacation spots and why?
It’s so hard to choose just three! There are so many fantastic vacation spots I’ve visited, but here are my top three favorites:
- Yosemite National Park: I visited Yosemite for the first time this past spring, and it had some of the most breathtaking scenery I’ve ever seen. I probably saw Half Dome and El Capitan a dozen times while we were there, but my jaw dropped every time I passed them. The hikes were amazing—strenuous but very rewarding! Learning about climbing in one of the world’s top destinations was also amazing!
- Singapore: Words can’t describe how amazing visiting Singapore is! They have the most incredible botanical gardens I’ve ever seen — I could go on and on about them, but I’ll leave it at that! They also have such delicious food.
- Damascus, VA: This is such a cute little outdoorsy town. My family and I travel there every year for the Iron Mountain Trail run and to go biking on the Virginia Creeper Trail in the fall. They have super cute, cozy inns that I love staying at, and there’s no cell service so it feels like the perfect fall getaway every time we go.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
A marine biologist, an acrobat, and a firefighter
Who is your celebrity crush?
Harry Styles
Are you a dog person, a cat person, or neither?
I’m more of a dog person! I love all animals, but I grew up with dogs, and currently have a Jack Russell Terrier mix named Benny. Before I adopted Benny, I had a rat terrier named Charlie for 17 years! Fun fact: I lose my cool every time I see a little terrier in public — I love them!!
