In this edition of Meet the Freshies, meet Ilana Schreiber, FED data mastermind and resident Gen Z representative. Ilana (they/them), who was promoted to Data Analytics Consultant in October, brings tenacity, rigor, and good humor to our client work and our team. How long have you worked at Fresh Eyes Digital? What’s your role here?

I’ve been at FED for just over two years, and I’m a Data Analytics Consultant here.

What are your top three favorite vacation spots?

I really love Starved Rock State Park in IL, especially any time outside of peak season when there are fewer people around. It’s so beautiful and only a few hours away from me, which is really nice. Outside of that, I don’t have any particular favorite spots. I love taking road trips all around the Midwest and have a penchant for finding cheesy roadside attractions!

What did you want to be when you were growing up?

A teacher! I even had a full teacher set where I would give lessons and homework to my stuffed animals (and then fill out and later grade said homework).

Who is your celebrity crush? 

Kate McKinnon.

Are you a dog person? A cat person? Neither?  

I love them both, but absolutely a cat person. I have two wonderful (and very needy!) cats, Brandy and Brie.
